Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information BananaThief ("the app", "we", "us") collects when you use the game, how we use it, and the choices you have. BananaThief is published by Symflo and is available on iOS, Android, and the web.

The short version

• We don't ask for, or collect, any personal information directly. There's no account or sign-in.
• The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve ads.
• If you buy Remove Ads, Apple or Google handles the payment, and RevenueCat verifies the purchase using an anonymous ID.
• If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is sent to Sentry so we can fix the bug.
• Your high scores and game preferences are stored only on your device.

Information we collect

BananaThief does not require you to create an account, sign in, or share any personal information to play. We do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, contact lists, photos, or location data. The only information that leaves your device is described below: advertising (Google AdMob), purchases (RevenueCat), and crash reports (Sentry).

Local data on your device

To remember your best time for each game mode, your audio preferences, whether you've bought Remove Ads, and similar settings between sessions, the app stores data locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time by deleting the app or, on the web, by clearing your browser's site data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

BananaThief uses Google AdMob to display banner, full-screen (interstitial), app-open, and optional rewarded video ads. If you buy Remove Ads, the app stops showing ads. Google and its partners may collect and process information to serve and measure ads, including:

• Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks, completions)

On supported devices you can also reset or limit your Advertising ID through your operating system's settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

In-app purchases (RevenueCat)

BananaThief offers one optional in-app purchase, Remove Ads. Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your payment details. To confirm and restore purchases, we use RevenueCat, which processes:

• A random, anonymous app user ID created on your device
• Your purchase and transaction records from the App Store or Google Play
• Basic device information, such as device model, operating system, app version, and country or region

This processing is governed by the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Crash reports (Sentry)

In the iOS and Android apps, if BananaThief crashes or hits an unexpected error, a diagnostic report is sent to Sentry. A report contains technical details such as the error and where it happened in the code, your device model, operating system, and app version. Reports don't include screenshots or personal information, and we use them only to find and fix bugs. See the Sentry Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

BananaThief is rated for general audiences but is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) to access, correct, or delete personal information about you. Because BananaThief does not collect personal information directly, most data described above is held by Google AdMob, RevenueCat, or Sentry. To make a request to us, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Data retention

We do not retain personal information about you, because we do not collect any. Crash reports are kept for no more than 90 days. RevenueCat keeps purchase records so your purchase can be restored on a new device. Data stored locally on your device persists until you delete the app or clear it from your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this site.
